crosstalkIn CrossTalk today Peter Lavelle had three guests discussing climate.  The talk is inspired by the current heatwave in Moscow and the debate or total crosstalk involved two and a half alarmists and one skeptic:
Mark Lynas - Environmentalist Author
Alexander Ochs - World Watch Institute
Phelim McAleer - Journalist Filmmaker (Not Evil, Just Wrong)

What I found most disturbing was the vertical lies provided by Mark Lynas in combination with his outstanding arrogance and his insulting "...deniers like you Phelim...".  When Phelim noted that he was told about a new Ice Age thread when he went to school in the 70's, Mark complained that back then science was not developed nearly as much as today, thus scientists back then believed in flat Earth and all sort of stone age thinking.

Below I have extracted a clip from the conversation where Mark says:
"For the last 15 years there has not been one single - and I repeat - one single article out there, that has made it passed a peer review board that is doubting two things:  either that the temperature is warming and this is recorded and secondly that human caused greenhouse gases are the main culprit for this, there is not one single article about this...."
Phelim tries to be polite and assumes Mark is just misinformed and mention advocates of a different view, like Richard Lindzen from MIT; which certainly did not please Mark.

You can watch/hear the whole CroosTalk on RT's website.
