Based on "Hiding The Decline In Washington DC" from stevengoddard, I compiled a new graph based on the original two graphs from cdiac.ornl.gov without any parallel shift or adjustment of any kind. In this way it stands out more clearly how the doctors are following the same principle as usual, namely adjusting the early data down a lot and the recent data up, thus creating a wishful dataset, that tends to fit the IPCC expectations more closely. That these doctored data are unlikely to reflect the real world, is probably no issue, the impotent thing is to convey the "correct" message. ![]() The original text and graphs from stevengoddard is as follows: Hiding The Decline In Washington DC The closest USHCN station to Washington is at Lincoln, Virginia. Since the mid-1990s, the thermometers say that Lincoln has cooled about three degrees (blue below) – while USHCN carefully adjusts the temperatures in the opposite direction. Note that the adjusted (red) trend is up by two degrees since the mid-1990s. ![]() Thanks to the excellent work of our top scientists, we can actually reverse the naughty behaviour of anti-science thermometers. |
