Why Denmark's Chief Climate Negotiator Left?
By Karl J. Hansen, klimabedrag.dk
Recently Thomas Becker, who was the chief Negotiator to the Danish Climate Minister Connie Hedegaard, resigned from his post. Hi has been accused of overspending and irregularities in the financial records.
Becker was the driving force in ensuring the COP 15 climate meeting is going to take place in Copenhagen. He is also a good friend of the climate minister.
The question is: what was the real reason for Thomas Becker to leave? There are many possibilities and the administration's libs are suspiciously sealed in this case. It is more than likely that the expense thing is just an excuse and that the reason should be found in something else.
Considering that Becker is in sync with the minister, with regards to the climate policy, the reason must be found somewhere else. It could be political issues unrelated to the climate policy and roamers tell that it could have to do with foreign policy.
Whatever the real reason is for Thomas Becker to leave, it is causing added problems for the climate conference in Copenhagen.
